Recomeço coffee was born when I decided to return to the countryside in 2021/22.
More than just returning, I chose to start something of my own: planting a new crop on a steep slope just below the Ribanceira plot—a challenging terrain that few wanted to cultivate.
Being the daughter of coffee farmers is one thing.
Creating a crop from scratch is another story.
There I planted a variety still little known in the region and followed, step by step, the growth of that new crop.
Years later came the first fruits.
From this same plot emerged different interpretations of this coffee, exploring post-harvest processes that reveal new layers of aroma and complexity.
Because starting over isn't about going back to the beginning.
It's about having the courage to plant something new.
